Updated Puget Sound Area Transmssion Expansion Plan
ColumbiaGrid’s Puget Sound Area Study Team has updated its 10-year Transmission Expansion Plan for the Puget Sound Area. The plan was developed to provide economical and reliable service to Puget Sound Area load while minimizing the risk of curtailing power transfers between the Northwest and Canada. The update was developed to study additional alternative projects suggested for the area and to study significant system changes that occurred since the last report was finalized.
