Board promotes Patrick Damiano to VP

At the April 20, 2021 ColumbiaGrid Board of Directors meeting, the Board voted unanimously to appoint Patrick Damiano to the position of Vice President of the corporation.
This move was made at the recommendation of Jon Kaake, ColumbiaGrid President, in order to strengthen the company’s management team, especially in the area of new projects and services development.
Patrick has 24 years of experience in the electric utility business, having worked at several NW utilities and subsidiaries and as an independent industry consultant. His experience includes leadership, power system planning and operations, energy trading and marketing, and resource acquisition. He had previously provided consulting services to ColumbiaGrid for several years prior to taking a permanent management position with the company earlier this spring.

Chelan County PUD

"Chelan PUD is a strong supporter of ColumbiaGrid and the work that’s accomplished through the transmission Planning and Expansion Functional Agreement (PEFA). As a result of that process, the mid-C utilities (Chelan, Grant and Douglas PUDs) and Bonneville Power Administration were able to reach an agreement that defined the need for a new transmission line, as well as determine who will construct, own and pay for the facility. Those difficult decisions were made successful through the expert and independent expertise of the ColumbiaGrid staff."
