2010 System Assessment Published

The final ColumbiaGrid 2010 System Assessment report has been posted.  The report analyzes the reliability of the transmission system over the next ten years and identifies areas where there may be reliability issues. Study Teams are formed to address reliability issues when they affect more than one ColumbiaGrid planning participant. As a result of this year's assessment, ColumbiaGrid is proposing three new areas of study; Olympic Peninsula, Eastern Washington/Northern Idaho and Okanogan. Other study needs could be incorporated in existing Puget Sound area West of Cascades and Northern Mid-C Study Teams.
