Staff & Consultants

The planning staff is charged with carrying out ColumbiaGrid's responsibilities under the Planning Program.  Those responsibilities are detailed in the Planning and Expansion Functional Agreement (PEFA) and a good readable description of ColumbiaGrid's Planning Process is included as Appendix A to the PEFA.

Additionally, the planning staff, with some help from consultants on our contract staff, has taken on the role of assisting in regional review of various existing transmission project proposals for our participants.  They also represent the company at various regional forums dealing with transmission planning issues.
