DSRFA Reliability Services Details

This program is the cornerstone of future reliability efforts and activities. Staff will produce analyses and reports that will inform the development of the long-term reliability programs.  The first reliability projects were established with the adoption of the Developmental and Staffing Reliability Functional Agreement (DSRFA) in 2007, which covers ColumbiaGrid’s activities in four key areas:

  • visibility tools (West-Wide System Model);
  • reliability redispatch;
  • outage coordination process; and
  • Area Control Error (ACE) diversity interchange.

The major objective of DSRFA is to outline the initial activities needed to design a program that assures ColumbiaGrid’s members of transmission reliability as the grid expands.
