Since the early 1990s, Tacoma Power has participated in the Pacific Northwest’s search for an appropriate regional transmission oversight scheme. We have determined that regional interests and Tacoma Power’s customers are best served by ColumbiaGrid, which fosters collaboration and flexibility, is tailored to the needs of this region, and takes an incremental approach to creating real solutions to real problems.
