Planning and Expansion
ColumbiaGrid is an independent entity, and its transmission planning process and involvement in other planning activities in the region assures projects will be thoroughly studied and alternatives considered. ColumbiaGrid also provides mechanisms to address cost allocation issues and get needed projects built.
DSRFA Reliability Services
This program is the cornerstone of future reliability efforts and activities. Staff will produce analyses and reports that will inform the development of ColumbiaGrid's long-term reliability programs. The Developmental and Staffing Reliability Functional Agreement (DSRFA) describes the initial activities in this area.
OASIS & Trans. Svcs.
ColumbiaGrid’s long-term OASIS and Transmission Services Program includes establishing and administering a common OASIS portal, determining methodologies for a common ATC, and working toward common queue methods for both transmission service and interconnection requests.
Reliability Services (development phase)
The long-term Reliability Services Program will be an outgrowth of analyses performed under DSRFA. It will provide participants with services designed to improve operations of the transmission grid. The technical development work group in this area is known as the Reliability Small Group.
Corporate Development
This program includes activities focused on ColumbiaGrid as a corporation.
